Exporting: A Key Driver of SME Growth and Profits

Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) conducted a first-of-its-kind study of Canadian SME export strategies, and identified three factors strongly associated with export success based on a survey of over 700 established SME exporters. BDC also partnered with Statistics Canada to look, for the first time ever, at newly-available data on SME export performance. This helped identify previously unknown information, such as the foreign markets where Canadian SMEs have most often secured repeat sales.

Join us for this live webinar co-hosted by ACEC-Canada, where BDC Economist Tom Corner will share the results of this latest research on exporting, a key driver of Canadian SME growth and profits. You’ll also discover how to prepare yourself to export or continue exporting successfully.  Peter Ficocelli, Director, International Expansion, will share with you how they can help your business export.

This is a must attend event for any CEO/CFO, Principle and senior manager who wants to learn more on how their firm can expand their business markets through export and how BDC can help them achieve that goal.

Date: Thursday June 1, 2017
