2017 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards
Stage 1 Deadline Extended to Tuesday April 4th, 2017!
The Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards represent the highest honours for excellence in consulting engineering and offer an unparalleled opportunity to gain recognition for your firm and your employees. Now in their 49th year, the awards are a joint program between the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Canada (ACEC) and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine. Winning projects are selected based on high quality engineering, imagination and innovation, and "these awards showcase the important role of Canadian consulting engineers in every aspect of our lives"- ACEC President and CEO John Gamble.
The Stage I deadline (Notice of Intention to Enter) has been extended to Tuesday, Apirl 4th 2017.
A Notice of Intention to Enter plus $350.00 entry fee is required at this stage.

National Recognition for Your Firm
The Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards provide a platform for ACEC member firms to showcase their talent and expertise. The list of winners is publicized nationwide and project details are published in a special issue of Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine. In addition, ACEC and CCE will jointly issue a press release to media in your local area.
Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala - Industry’s Premier Networking Event
Awards will be presented at the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala dinner in Ottawa on Tuesday October 24th, 2017. The Awards Gala is a premier networking opportunity for ACEC members as well as a showcase for the industry’s accomplishments.
A Feature in the 20 Days of Excellence Campaign
Starting in November, immediately following the CCE awards, we will be showcasing one of the Award-winning projects every weekday during the 20 Days of Excellence. The projects will be prominently featured on ACEC's website as well as our social media channels.
Awards of Excellence and Special Achievement Awards
Up to 20 Awards of Excellence will be given at the judges’ discretion. These are selected from all categories.
In addition, 5 Special Achievement Awards will be designated by the jury from among projects entered in all categories. These Special Achievement Awards include:
This is the highest honour, which is presented annually to the project that best demonstrates technical excellence and innovation by a consulting engineering firm.
Tree for Life Award
This award is given annually to a project that demonstrates outstanding environmental stewardship.
This award is presented to a project executed outside Canada that best showcases Canadian engineering expertise.
Engineering a Better Canada Award
This award is presented to the project that best showcases how engineering enhances the social, economic or cultural quality of life of Canadians.
This award is given in recognition of a company’s role in donating their time and/or services for the benefit of a community or group either in Canada or on the international stage.
