ACEC and mining sector partners release new study
A new study released by ACEC and its partner organizations in the mining and exploration sector has found that the high cost to explore and build new mines in remote and northern regions of Canada, largely as a result of a lack of critical infrastructure, is holding back exploration and mining development in Canada’s territories and northern regions of the provinces.

FIDIC is collaborating with the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction, the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment and the United Nations Environment Programme's Sustainable Building and Climate Initiative to bring to the industry the Sustainable Building Conference Series. ACEC Submission to the Standing Committee on Finance
ACEC recently made its annual pre-budget submission to the federal Standing Committee on Finance. The Committee is planning to hold its public hearings on the 2012 pre-budget consultations when Parliament resumes in the fall of 2012. Hearings will be held in Ottawa and in designated Canadian cities.
