Business Program Highlights:

 

The ACEC national leadership conference is the only national business conference designed for the current and emerging leaders of the consulting engineering sector and those who support the industry. Its business program is tailored to the task of driving business for future success and shaping policy to create a positive environment for the sector, the two-days of programming will feature business leaders and decision makers discussing topics that are of importance to our sector.

Welcome Reception

Sunday October 22nd 

Your ACEC national leadership conference experience kicks-off with the Welcome Reception. Connect with fellow conference delegates and their spouses, the ACEC Board of Directors, conference speakers, leaders from client and stakeholder organizations, and special guests. This is a great event to mingle and get to meet peers for your first night in the Nation’s capital.

 

Conference Program

Monday October 23rd and Tuesday October 24th 

Explore emerging challenges and opportunities through the business program, developed on the theme "driving business, shaping policy." The presentations and panels will feature experts, industry CEOs, important stakeholders from the private and public sectors and thought leaders who will discuss top policy priorities and key business issues for the consulting engineering sector.

 

Networking Reception

Monday October 23rd 

The Sir John A. MacDonald building, across the street from our seat of government, provides a unique backdrop for the Networking Reception. Delegates and companions will have the opportunity to mingle with Ministers, Members of Parliament, and Senior Bureaucrats from the federal government.

 

MP Meetings - Parliament Hill Day

Tuesday October 24th 

Participate in our Parliament Hill Day by meeting with Members of Parliament. A cornerstone government relations activity for ACEC, these meetings raise awareness of the issues affecting the consulting engineering industry. Help shape policy affecting our sector by meeting with your local MP in their Parliament Hill office.

 

Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala

Tuesday October 24th 

Celebrate excellence in consulting engineering! The Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards Gala will be the culminating event of the conference and industry's night to award the highest honours for achievements in consulting engineering in Canada. Now in its 49th year, the CCE awards are co-sponsored by ACEC and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine. Close your conference experience off at our industry's night of excellence and premier networking event.
