PWGSC Seeks Industry Input on
Accelerated Delivery of Capital Projects
The following information was provided by Public Works and Government Services Canada.
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) invites engineering consulting firms, construction companies and their respective professional associations to a forum on PWGSC’s Engineering Assets Program. The forum is not a bid solicitation. It offers industry the opportunity to provide input on program delivery methodologies and related scheduling impacts on five major capital projects for bridges and dams located in Ontario and Quebec.
PWGSC is seeking feedback to accelerate the implementation of these projects. This feedback will be used to determine the most efficient delivery methodologies for the five projects.
Time and Location
- Wednesday, November 30, 2011
- 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (EST)
- The Papineau Room, Conference Centre, Phase IV, Place du Portage, 140 Promenade du Portage, Gatineau (Hull), Quebec.
For security reasons, participants are requested to submit their name and company name to the Contracting Authority listed below, no later than Tuesday, November 29, 2011 by 4:00 p.m. (EST). Participants are encouraged to allow sufficient time to access the Papineau Room.
Interested parties who are unable to attend this forum may submit their suggestions/comments to the Contracting Authority listed below, no later than 4:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
Information on the program, project descriptions and questions for industry’s consideration are available in the attached Annex.
Please be advised that PWGSC will not reimburse any travel and/or accommodation expenses incurred by participants.
