In Discussion with ACEC is a series of informal conversations with Federal Government decision makers who have an impact on the consulting engineering sector.
During these in-depth interviews, ACEC-Canada President and CEO John Gamble delves into policies and programs to gain a first-hand understanding of the government's long-term vision on the issues and challenges that touch the consulting engineering sector. Interviews have taken place with the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Honourable Bill Morneau, the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, the Honourable Jim Carr, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Pierre Lavalée, President & CEO of the Canada Infrastructure Bank, Goldy Hyder, President and CEO of the Business Council of Canada, and Mary Van Buren, President of the Canadian Construction Association.
During ACEC-Canada's virtual annual general meeting of members held on October 27, 2020, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, addressed the membership. She shared the government's vision and plans for infrastructure investments moving forward and answered questions from the attendees.
