The Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards ceremony, held every year in Ottawa, is organized jointly by ACEC and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine. The awards are recognized as the industry's highest honours, offered only to the most remarkable engineering feats featured in projects by Canadian firms.
These prestigious awards are presented in a variety of categories, ranging from buildings and transportation to the environment and wastewater treatment. They include the Beaubien Award for lifetime achievement, presented to an individual who has made significant contributions to the industry and the profession, the Schreyer Award, given to the most technically innovative project, and the Tree for Life Award, presented for outstanding environmental stewardship. According to ACEC President and CEO John Gamble, "The awards showcase the important role of Canadian consulting engineers in every aspect of our lives."

Showcasing award-winning projects
Throughout the month of November, for 20 days ACEC showcases a different award-winning project. These projects represent the outstanding talent and expertise of Canadian consulting engineering firms and their contribution to Canadians' quality of life and the impact they have here and around the world.
ACEC's #20DaysOfExcellence in Engineering campaign was the recipient of the 2019 FIDIC Member Association (MA) Award and the 2019 CSAE Award of Distinction for 'Delivering Value to Member & Stakeholder Segments.'
