A Successful ̶ and Memorable ̶ Industry Conference!

Canada’s leaders in consulting engineering gathered in Lake Louise, Alberta for ACEC’s 2013 Summit, a business conference that was both highly successful and memorable. Held at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, the meeting featured a two-day Business Program, Annual General Meeting and a variety of social events and optional activities.

The opening of the Summit coincided with excessive flooding in southern Alberta which resulted in road closures and prevented some delegates and speakers from attending the conference. Consequently, there were some program changes on Day 2 of the Summit and many delegates were forced to make alternate travel plans. Special thanks to the Young Professionals who shared their valuable insights during an impromptu plenary session.​
