ACEC and business partners fighting for tax fairness for members


Tax changes will have a significant impact on the consulting engineering industry.

ACEC is fighting for family and employee owned consulting engineering firms by opposing changes to how Canadian-controlled private corporations (CCPCs) are taxed. These changes could have significant adverse impacts on many consulting engineering companies.


Let’s get building — Senate committee aims to put northern corridor on the map


Today’s politicians tout the benefits of free trade abroad but cannot organize it among its provinces at home. It’s time to reverse this trend.

A good start would be for the federal government to provide the University of Calgary and CIRANO with $5 million to complete their study on a corridor.
