ACEC staff update 

 

National office welcomes new member to its team.

President and CEO John Gamble is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Courtright, CPA, CGA as ACEC's Manager of Finance and Administration. “Please join me in welcoming Michael to ACEC. His position plays a key role within our association, with his considerable qualifications and professionalism he will provide an invaluable contribution to the team and will serve the association and its membership well.”

Michael supports the President and CEO by overseeing and managing the association’s financial reporting and information system to ensure that budgets are aligned with the organization’s strategic plan and objectives. Michael will also work closely with the association’s Treasurer in keeping the ACEC Board of Directors informed of the association’s financial activities and position. As a member of the management team, he will also be responsible for administration and human resources.

Michael is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant with significant experience in non-profit financial management. He is a graduate of Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and holds a Diploma in Professional Accounting from Algonquin College. “I am excited to join this dynamic and dedicated team and look forward to working with them in supporting the association and its members in my new role.”

Michael takes over from Jean-Marc Carrière who is retiring after more than 21 years of distinguished and dedicated service to ACEC-Canada and to the consulting engineering industry. Jean-Marc will be remaining at ACEC until the end of September to ensure an orderly and seamless transition.
