The team has submitted a pre-budget submission to Minister Freeland, ensuring that our priorities and recommendations receive the attention they deserve as the government prepares the budget for 2024. August 2023

In its ongoing advocacy efforts, ACEC was excited to participate in the House of Commons Finance Committee’s pre-budget consultation once again. This yearly activity allows ACEC to further strengthen the messaging we’ve been sharing with elected officials and senior policy advisors for the past months. Read the submission here


February 2023 

ACEC continues to meet with various Members of Parliament from key House of Commons Standing Committees to further advance the key messages of our pre-budget submission to the Finance Committee.  

To amplify the voice of the consulting engineering industry and have ACEC’s priorities and recommendations front and centre with the senior policy advisers assisting the Minister of Finance develop and finalize the government’s budget for 2023, the team submitted a departmental pre-budget submission to Minister Freeland. October 2022 

Members of Parliament are back in the House of Commons following the summer break. With the fall sitting underway, the ACEC team is actively pursuing its advocacy agenda, ensuring the voice of consulting engineering continues to be heard by federal decision makers.
