The economy and th

e environment go hand in hand - we do not and should not have to choose between the two. That’s why Canada needs a long-term integrated environmental and economic vision to ensure future sustainable prosperity. The 2022 national leadership conference will be an opportunity for the consulting engineering sector to come together to explore why an integrated vision is essential to a prosperous and sustainable Canada, the socio-political and economic dynamics driving such a vision, and how the consulting engineering industry can play an important role in making it happen.

Join us in Ottawa or virtually

We’re excited to host this year’s conference in-person!

Can’t make it in-person? The business program will feature some virtual content that you can take part in from anywhere!

Important:
The in-person business program sessions will ONLY be available to in-person attendees.

The virtual sessions will be virtual for ALL attendees. They are NOT in-person sessions that are live-streamed. In-person attendees will watch these sessions on a large screen in the Alma Duncan salon where the conference is taking place.

Who should attend?

  • Current and future leaders in the consulting engineering sector
  • Industry stakeholders and partners
  • Public and private sector clients looking to gain insight into the sector

What to expect

Here’s what you can expect if you attend in-person:

  • Two full days of in-person and virtual business content
  • Networking receptions, lunches, and nutrition breaks
  • A technical tour of the Ottawa Art Gallery – the conference host venue
  • Ticket to the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards

Health and Safety

We are committed to producing a safe event for our attendees. ACEC has determined that only fully vaccinated individuals will be permitted to attend the in-person national leadership conference and the Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards in Ottawa. Requiring vaccinations for in-person attendees helps safeguard those attendees who may be immune compromised, who have health conditions that may have reduced the efficacy of their vaccinations, and/or who have family members who fall into these categories. Fully vaccinated means that 14 days have passed since receiving a second dose of Health Canada approved vaccines.

Our safety protocols and best practices around COVID-19 will continue to respond to the public health guidance and will be updated to reflect changes to circumstances.
